The Harbor and Other Stories

In moments.. the present fades away, disappears into the background, and the past overwhelms all its stores, so I watch a documentary full of images, movement, and the pulse of life. A past that is not all beautiful, some of which renews sorrows, I try hard to ignore it, and transcend its reality and its events, I may succeed, but its repercussions remain in all the cells of my thinking, and at that time sadness hangs over me, and I am overcome with chagrin. Is it nostalgia that drives me to return to those stations in my life? I may stop for a long time in some of them, even if they are moments old, but they are radiant and clear, and others are dull and do not attract my attention, so I quickly pass them.
